LHO believes the practice of hypnotherapy is best served when it functions from an interdisciplinary perspective.  LHO conferences offer a unique opportunity for hypnotherapists and allied professionals to learn from one another while enhancing their knowledge and understanding the interconnectedness of policy and practice.  Attendees include hypnotherapists, social workers, counselors, psychologists, physicians, nurses, various other mental health, and medical professionals who use hypnosis in their practice.  We are seeking innovative topics that promote healthy body, peaceful mind and playful spirit.  Presentations are welcomed from speakers on hypnosis and hypnotherapy topics such as healing from interpersonal violence; hypnosis and end-of-life issues; using hypnotherapy to enhance child, adult and elder quality of life; using hypnotherapy in mental health and substance abuse treatment settings; legal and ethical concerns related to hypnotherapy practice; self-care for clinicians; using hypnosis to address sexual issues; and risk management for service providers.
